Cash Contributions

Cash Contributions: The delegates's cash outlay, which is generated by the non-federal entity (delegate) or donated by a third party, and is expended to fund allowable program costs.

 

Cash match 💡 only counts toward the non-federal match requirement  when expended, not when donated to or generated by the grantee.

 

Cash match can consist of state or local funds, or private or corporate donations.

It cannot include funds received from any federal source except as defined in specific statutory language.
